The story is about a guy called Danny who gets falsely convicted for the murder of Bernie, his best friend and to-be brother-in-law on the night he proposes Beth (Bernie's sister) and lands in Britain's most secure prison, Belmarsh for to spend an imprisonment of 22 years. The book shows how Danny, desperate for revenge, becomes the first person to escape the high-security Belmarh prison and decides to destroy the original murderers. Reading this book is really exciting and a lot of fun. One doesn't get tired or shows the slightest lack of excitement even when reading the book for the second time :D (I, myself have read it twice and plan to read it for the third time soon. :) ) Don't hesitate in buying this book ;) It is a great book which is worth every cent spent. ;)Fantastic suspense thriller by Jeffrey Archer. He has done exceptional work in creating such a terrific story of thrill. The character of Danny Cartwright is is of a simple man who is in love with Beth. Eventually, he got caught up for his best friend’s murder. The judiciary held him the culprit and sentenced him for 22 years. The struggle starts and he safely came out of this. Also took revenge for his friend’s murder. Good combination of suspense and thrill. It keeps your attention until the very end and at the end you are not disappointed. The story moves around a simple man Danny Cartwright who was caught by the police for murdering his best friend. The English judicial system imprisoned him for the crime that he did not commit. Jeffrey Archer has described Danny’s days in prison very well. In prison, he met two British army soldiers who helped him get out of the cell and take his revenge. Absolute read for all.
