Yesterday, I received this product. Amazon was prompt as usual. Yesterday itself I placed a call for installation yesterday through your helpline number 18602101000.Today afternoon, technician from your side (mobile no. - 9582262322) came to my place to install the equipment. The real story starts hereafter.i) During the course of installation, he broke my tap and refused to fix it. He told such damages are not my responsibility. You call a plumber to get it fixed first then I will proceed with instillation.ii) He kept pressing to make attachments to second water line to my home at a cost of additional ?500 which I promptly refused. This type of endorsements by a pureit (unilever product) authorized person is highly deplorable and amounts to cheating.After a lot of research I had opted for HUL but I can say for sure I made a bad decision after going through all this.Why does HUL pretend for free installation?
high maintenance

I have spent close to cost of purifier as annual maintenance in this whole year, every month , some filter needs to be changedit worked fine for first 3 to 4 month post that i have kept changing filter worth 1700 and 3700 worth apart from that normal sediment filter worth 250in all i have spent close 8000 so far....maintenance is very high

Horrible product, received with defect and very disappointed with this product and I am not happy at all and i am returning it back. Unilever is not maintaining his standard and the product is started to leak just half an hour after the installation this was never expected.

I bought this product at Rs.6736 (in Great Indian Sunmer Sale, after cashback) more than 2 years ago. For two years the product gave us extreme satisfaction. BUT, as 3 months ago the blue light started blinking (indicating need to change few parts referred as GKK1) we called the service. Service was prompt but shoddy.NOW READ THIS CAREFULLY:They filled the storage tank and kept aside. Now changed the GKK1. They showed us everything is fine. Tasted the water and found the taste to be ok. But could not actually understand that we were tasting the previously purified water. The very next day, as we started getting very salty water and the filtration rate became very slow we called them and said it will be ok within few days and took Rs.250. Again called them few days later as the problem was not solved. They came and asked to change the GKK2 immediately as the GKK2 was also damaged. But as i argued that the Red light was not blinking (indication of changing the GKK2 ), they said then there is problem with the RO Membrane. We agreed. As the technician started to work he started pressing too too hard to changed the GKK2 completely.I got furious and simply asked the person to leave without paying a single paisa (Generally they charge Rs.250).I then myself opened the machine and found, the RO UNIT WAS SIMPLY BYPASSED!!!!!!!! Can you believe such cheating from a Authorized Service Center!!!! Reconnected the RO Unit and everything is fine again. The knew very well what they intentionally did and so never opened the machine even after our repeated request to find any mistake in fitting.Residents of Kolkata please avoid getting service from Krishna Services, Vivekananda Sarani.

Better to avoid pureit product. I have been using Marvell ro slim from last 1.5 year and faced below mentioned issue. Just after warranty ends, during replacing sf, service engineer asked to change control circuit, costing 2500 rupees with service charge cost 400. Means such a faulty devices are there. Also you will have to bear annual maintenance I.e. replacement of gkk1 (cost 2000)each year and gkk2 (cost 3500)after every 2 year. Again I m not sure how many time, need to replace electronic devices. So I only advice , think before purchase of pureit product and how much one can bear cost annually.

Very bad customer care. Do not buy this product. Maintaince cost is too high, after 1 and half year I have spent around 5400 Rs. customer care guy told me yearly I have to pay around 7000 rs for purification through this product. Do not buy this product.

So far so good. Let me see the purification strength of this product. Expecting good and hope so. I'm purifying of our area water tds level up to 1750 of ground water. After purification it shows below 100 as of now.

I have been using this for almost 5 months. It's worth every penny and I am very much happy about the product. But there was some issues with the installation. The service engineer who came to my apartment was not an experienced guy and he don't even know how to open and fix a tap. Pureit needs to improve the quality of their service guys.
